A one way lane for us
Unlike our California lanes, this one runs in a single direction in our records. From January through September 2026 we moved about a load a week from the Phoenix area north to Las Vegas, and almost nothing from Las Vegas back to Phoenix.
We say that plainly because it changes what you can expect from us. Northbound, we have recent loads, known carriers and a feel for the market. Southbound, we can quote your load, but we would be sourcing a truck fresh.
The route
Phoenix and Las Vegas are not joined by an interstate. Trucks leave Phoenix on US 60 to Wickenburg and pick up US 93 north through Wikieup to Interstate 40 at Kingman. After a short run on the interstate, US 93 continues north to the Colorado River.
Trucks cross the river on the bypass bridge downstream of Hoover Dam, since commercial traffic is not allowed over the dam itself. On the Nevada side the road becomes Interstate 11 past Boulder City and Henderson into Las Vegas.
The distance is about 290 miles. There are long stretches with few services between Wickenburg and Kingman, so drivers fuel before leaving the Phoenix area.
Typical transit time
Driving time is about five hours. In our records the usual pattern is a pickup in Phoenix one day and a delivery in Las Vegas the next morning. Same day delivery is possible with an early pickup. Arizona stays on standard time all year and Nevada does not, so for much of the year Las Vegas is on the same clock as Phoenix and in winter it is an hour behind. Check appointment times with that in mind. We do not guarantee delivery times.
What moves on the lane
This is a dry van lane for us. All but one load in 2026 went in a standard 53 foot van, and all of them were hauled by partner carriers, each vetted through Highway before dispatch. Our own trucks are based in Southern California and do not normally cover this leg.
Loads pick up in the city of Phoenix and deliver in Las Vegas and North Las Vegas. Live unloading is standard. We have dropped a trailer at the receiver on this lane only a couple of times.
Getting a quote
Send the pickup address or ZIP code, the delivery address in the Las Vegas valley, your date, the weight and the pallet count. If the delivery is to a hotel, a convention venue or a construction site, include the delivery window and check in instructions.
