The east end of our network

El Paso is about 800 miles from Los Angeles on Interstate 10, and it is the farthest east that we run regularly. In our records for January through September 2026 we averaged about two loads a week here, split between El Paso itself and the industrial parks at Santa Teresa, just across the state line in New Mexico.

About six loads in ten were deliveries into the area and four in ten were pickups, so freight moves both ways.

Where El Paso sits

El Paso is a long way from everywhere. It is about 430 miles from Phoenix, 270 from Albuquerque and 630 from Dallas, and it keeps Mountain Time while the rest of Texas is on Central Time. For a truck from the West Coast it is a natural turning point: far enough to be a two day trip, and busy enough to find a load home. East of El Paso, Interstate 10 and Interstate 20 split toward San Antonio and Dallas, and those are different markets that we reach only occasionally.

Lanes to and from El Paso

The anchor is Los Angeles to El Paso. About one dry van a week leaves the South Bay and the Compton area for El Paso or Santa Teresa, and our own trucks haul most of those.

From the Inland Empire there are a few more loads each month, mostly flatbed and power only, which go to partner carriers.

Leaving the area, the most common trip is east to the Dallas and Fort Worth area, around 650 miles, about once a month with partner carriers. We also bring loads back to the Inland Empire on our own trucks, and have sent a handful to Las Vegas and Denver.

At the border, not across it

El Paso and Santa Teresa are both ports of entry, and much of the freight in the area is connected to plants across the line in Ciudad Juarez. Our part stops on the United States side. We pick up and deliver at warehouses and yards in El Paso and Santa Teresa. We do not list cross border trucking, customs brokerage or transfers into Mexico.

If your freight is crossing, we can take it to or from the facility on the United States side where your customs broker or transfer carrier takes over.

Coverage, timing and what to expect

Our own trucks hauled a little under half of our El Paso area loads in 2026, a higher share than in most of our markets. A truck that delivers there can often reload for the trip home. When our trucks are committed, partner carriers vetted through Highway cover the load.

A solo driver needs two days for the trip from Southern California, since federal hours of service rules cap driving at eleven hours in a shift. Plan on a pickup one day and a delivery on the second day after.

We have no office, terminal or staff in Texas or New Mexico. Loads are dispatched from Covina, California.
