Our highest volume market
Close to half of all the loads we moved from January through September 2026 either picked up or delivered in the Inland Empire. The split between inbound and outbound was almost even, which is unusual and useful: a truck that delivers here can often pick up another of our loads nearby.
The cities where we load and unload most are Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, Rialto, San Bernardino, Ontario, Fontana and Riverside, along with Corona, Jurupa Valley and Perris. These are the warehouse and distribution corridors along Interstate 10, Interstate 15 and State Route 60.
Inbound: valley and desert freight, often on drop trailers
Most inbound loads are dry vans from three places. A few loads a week come from the Salinas Valley, a few from the Central Valley and a few from Phoenix.
This is where our drop trailer service is concentrated. On the Central Valley lane roughly three deliveries in four are dropped trailers, and drops are common on the Phoenix lane too. The driver leaves the loaded trailer at the receiver, hooks an empty and leaves, so nobody is waiting on a dock door.
Outbound: the long trips start here
The Inland Empire is where most of our longer trips begin. About once a week each, we send loads to the Seattle and Tacoma area, to northern Arizona, to Phoenix and to St. George in southern Utah. A couple of times a month there are loads to Boise, and about monthly to Portland, the El Paso area, Salt Lake City, Spokane and western Montana.
Many of the northbound loads are power only: the shipper owns the trailer and we supply the tractor and driver. Nearly all of the power only work we do originates here.
Trips out over the Cajon Pass on Interstate 15 toward Utah and Idaho, and east on Interstate 10 toward Arizona, are the ones most often covered by our own trucks.
Who hauls it
Our own trucks covered a bit more than a third of Inland Empire loads in 2026, the highest share of any large market we serve. The rest went to partner carriers, each vetted through Highway before dispatch. If it matters to you whether the load is on our truck, say so when you request the quote.
Our office is in Covina, about 20 miles west of Ontario on Interstate 10. We do not have a terminal or a warehouse in the Inland Empire, and we do not offer storage or cross docking.

Questions shippers ask
- Which Inland Empire cities do you serve?
- All of them that a tractor trailer can reach. Most of our loads are in Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, Rialto, San Bernardino, Ontario, Fontana, Riverside, Corona, Jurupa Valley and Perris.
- Can I get a drop trailer at my Inland Empire warehouse?
- Often, yes. This is where most of our drop trailer loads deliver. It depends on steady volume on the lane and on your yard having room for a trailer to sit. Tell us your weekly volume and we will tell you whether it works.
- Do you run loads from the Inland Empire to the Pacific Northwest?
- Yes, about once a week to the Seattle and Tacoma area and about once a month to Portland. Most of those are power only loads pulling a shipper owned trailer, and the trip is close to 1,170 miles.
- How far ahead should I book an Inland Empire truckload?
- A day or two of notice gives us the best chance of putting the load on one of our own trucks. Same day requests are sometimes possible because we have trucks delivering in the area most days, but we cannot promise it.
